Terms of use
What this site is
supp.science publishes evidence gradings of dietary supplements, compiled from peer-reviewed literature indexed in PubMed. It is educational content and not medical advice. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for a consultation. Talk to a physician or a registered dietitian before starting any supplement, and especially if you take prescription medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or manage a chronic condition.
Accuracy, and its limits
Every reference is verified against PubMed before publication and the catalog is re-audited periodically — our methodology page describes how. Even so, evidence moves: a grading that is accurate today can be overturned by a trial published tomorrow. We correct errors when we find them or when a reader reports one, but we make no warranty that the content is complete, current or fit for any particular purpose, and we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of it.
Using our content
You may quote our analyses, including in AI-generated answers, provided you attribute supp.science and link to the page you drew from. That link is the whole deal: it lets your reader check the evidence for themselves. Republishing the catalog wholesale, or presenting our gradings as your own, is not permitted.
The API and MCP server
The JSON API and the MCP server are free to use under the same terms: attribute and link the source page. We ask that automated access stay at a reasonable rate; we do not rate-limit today and would rather not have to.
Purchase links
Purchase links are affiliate links, disclosed as such on every page that carries one. They do not change the price you pay, and no store pays for placement or influences an evidence grading. See the affiliate disclosure.
Changes
These terms may change as the site does. The version on this page is the one in force.
